The Colverson Family Tree

This was published in the parish magazine of St. Luke's Church, Southsea. The C. of E. church is still there at the corner of Greetham Street and Isambard Brunel Road. It's about a mile from where Joseph lived in Hambrook Street. The obituary mentions that he left East Meon when he was 18 which would have been around 1856.

The bequest of money to the Poor Fund was repeated by his son Samuel Henry 10 years later when he left a similar sum for the provision of coal to the poor of East Meon.
